Me
Hi, my name is Matt. I live in sunny Corpus Christi, Texas. I am 17 and I am a certified car nut. I guess I can blame that on my dad. His first car was a '65 Chevelle Malibu SS. Which he built from the bottom up. It sported a 327 cubic inch motor putting out over 600 horsepower. It was a daily driven car that could run ground-shaking 10.19 E.T.s, naturally aspirated. When I was old enough to get my licence my dad purchased a '93 black formula firebird. When I first got it, it was a fast stock car. Since then it has been modded with all kinds of things. Estimated E.T.s are in the 12's for now.

The History of the Blackbird
The Blackbird was purchased my sophmore year. It's a '93 formula firebird w/LT-1 and A4. It was driven by my dad until my junior year, when the keys were handed to me permanently. I was in love with its speed, it would lay waste to mustangs like they were nothing. After I drove it for a while I decided that I wanted to be faster. Thats when I started working to buy parts for it. So far my mods are:
-160 degree thermostat
-Jet stage II chip
-Lingenfelter cold air induction kit w/K&N
-March performance pulleys
-Hooker LT headers--street legal
-Custom y-pipe w/high flow cat
-3-inch catback w/flowmaster muffler
-3-inch cutout
-Crane gold race series roller rockers
All the work was done by my dad and myself. The headers were by far the hardest installation. We had to take the engine out, but I also got the most gain with the headers. I am still adding to the car but now with the right tires it will run 12's and I am happy with that for now.

Others
My About page is also a great place to give information about others involved with my site’s topic, such as the leaders of my organization, club, or company; an ancestor; my family; and so forth.
